Before Contacting Support
If something is not working as expected, please check:
- Your phone or tablet can reach the configured audio devices on the network - the same local network, or routed over the internet
- Local network permission is allowed for Campus Command in your device's settings
- Microphone permission is allowed if you are using live announcements
- Camera permission is allowed if you are scanning a QR code
- Audio decoder IP addresses, API keys, web protocol settings, and announcement destinations are entered correctly
- Audio decoders used for volume control are a compatible Barix model running IP Audio Client firmware 2.12.0 or later
- Configured devices are powered on and reachable from the network
- Announcement and tone destinations (RTP or SIP) are compatible with the selected audio format
- If you are using the companion app (currently Apple Watch), the paired iPhone is powered on, on the same network, and Campus Command is available - companion-app announcements relay through the iPhone
Configuration
Campus Command does not use user accounts or a hosted server. Configuration is entered and stored locally on the device. To move configuration between devices, use the app's Export Configuration and Import Configuration options - by file or QR code.
